Why do we all lurk in "Miscellaneous" ?

I can't help it I like the word miscellaneous. I don't know what I would do at home without at least two drawers or boxes with that name!

I'm kinda fed up with all the constant nitpicking about PIC (everywhere, not just here), so I prefer to just hang out in my Sir Patrick topic and also have a look at this section of the board every now and then. It does feel nicer here indeed.

My use of the word "lurk" is such that I mean "hang around"

Hanging around, as in with friends, and interacting with them.

"Why do we all hang around in Miscellaneous ?"

Not "lurk" as in today's modern parlance, meaning being in silent and inactive mode on a forum, all the while observing.

For me, MISC is the online equivalent of a pub You can hang out with friends, make new acquaintances, play games, be a bit silly and let your hair down all the way to your toes.
