Why didn't Worf shave his head during the Dominion War or the Destiny Trilogy?

We are already plotting a 6-Book miniseries to address this.

Star Trek: Neither Here Nor Hair - Coming 2020 from Pocket Books.

Shaved hair is used to make other products. Should be a boost to Klingon economy, if there is one.

i wonder why Worf, as one of the most tradition abiding Klingons out there, didn't shave his head during the Dominion War or during the Destiny Trilogy?
I'm sure, Worf had his head shaved during the war against the Borg. Did you read anything about his hair in Destiny?
It was so obvious for the author and the readers, that Worf had his head shaved, that nobody even had to mention it. ;-)

What I want to say is, that it doesn't matter, if he shaved his head. This old Klingon tradition is an idea of the producers from 2018. Yes, on TV, there where no shaved Klingon heads. But when you ask this question in the literature forum: how can you know, that the book-Klingons keep their hair? Both ways are possible.

Obviously, it’s because this existed for Discovery and it’s retroactively applies canon.

You want an explanation for why not even a traditionalist would do it for the Dominion War? Maybe Chang was the last Klingon of prominence who bought into it, and, considering his assassination of Gorkon, 24th century Klingons shun the tradition because they don’t care for the reminder of someone so dishonorable.

Like, that was twenty seconds of application of Trek history to patch this hole and we’re done. This isn’t the first, won’t be the last, fifty plus years, we’ve only ever pretended it has a single coherent timeline. Learn not to sweat the small stuff.

"Don't sweat the petty things, and never pet the sweaty things," has long been my life's credo.
