Why didn't DS9 capture a large audience like all the other Treks?

what other trek boards are there? this must be easily be the biggest online

 

It doesn't matter. Americans fear communism like Horses fear Fire. Don't like it and want everyone else not to like it...call it communist.

Reason and Intelligence fly out the window.

 

I totally disagree with that, most Star Trek fans or even Sci-Fi fans would put either TOS or TNG as the top trek shows I have also seen Top 20 Sci-Fi reviews and Voyager sometimes comes on top of DS9 (I simply do not know why lol)

But anyways for most trekkies its defo a tie between TOS or TNG and there might be a connection to which generation you come from (me its TNG) for old school trekkies then its TOS as best of all.
