Why did they not do a episode of finding 1 of the 100's?

Hi, in DS9 they said Odos people sent 100 changelings out.

I think it would of been a great idea to have found 1 of the 100 and maybe it could of died at the end or they could of made it a new cast member maybe.

No one in power on Voyager watched DS9.

Well Lass and Odo were unique in that they found each other but the Founder home world was still technically centuries away (but for the wormhole). I think there was some mention of the founders not expecting any of the 100 back until at least the 27th century so had there been any in the delta quadrant, they would probably have been even deeper into it than Voyager ever was.

Though how the Founders sent them so far is anyone's guess.

I think Voyager probably wanted to avoid being too similar to the show that was on air at the same time.

I would have liked it but the two shows kind of stayed on their own turf.

I don't think it was a legal issue so much as a professional understanding. They might have ended up establishing something about changelings that would have conflicted with the DS9 crew's plans. Just like DS9 stayed away from the Borg except by reference to prior events.
