Neelix should have stayed on the ship and in the series.

For what purpose? Voyager was two episodes away from the finale. Why is it so important that Neelix remain with the crew, instead of forming a new life for himself with a Talaxian woman in love with him and her son, who liked him a lot? What? I can't believe that it is really that more important to some fans that Neelix remain the Voyager's crew mascot, instead of creating a new life with a new family.

I think the problem is in the fact that Neelix discovered this wonderful new love life, family, home, and job opportunity in one episode.

What problem? What in the hell does it matter whether Neelix fell in love in one episode or six? VOYAGER was not DS9 or BABYLON 5. And the episode told a more than adequate story on how he remained in the Delta Quadrant.

I'm beginning to suspect that this entire thread is nothing more than an exercise in needless ranting in another attempt to show how "inferior" VOYAGER was.
