The only times Raisa is talked about in the whole franchise and that includes TNG, DS9, and ENT, it's exactly in these terms, IE an adult only holiday resort... Just as Ferenginar is a place where it rains all the time everywhere...
And so... that means the whole planet is a holiday resort? Please, does that mean 99% of humans work for Starfleet since this is what most of the humans do on the show?
The screen shows what's relevant to the story, its not the life of the average human, Vulcan, Klingon, Risian etc in the Trek universe.
Comparing a fictional planet's climate to another fictional planets cultural practices makes no sense.

I don't agree.
Sarek may be a bit rigid and orthodox regarding Vulcan customs and tradition, but nevertheless he clearly loves his family and would never intentionally harm them.
In ST09, Sarek freely admits that he married Amanda because he loved her, and in "Unification" (TNG) he also openly expresses his love for his family.
I definitely don't see Sarek as abusive or anything like that. He's just a father. He has flaws. He makes mistakes, as any parent would. And yeah, he and Spock were estranged for years. But they got over it.
If anything, it's Spock who's in the wrong. Stubborn to the last, he never listened.

Well, given that there are thousands of planets in the federation only and many more that don't belong to said federation. One pleasure planet doesn't seem like that much in fact it's most likely not even enough, which is why Jadzia talked of another planet, IE Casperia Prime.
Also, we have no idea when McCoy's father died. I suspect it could have been when Leonard McCoy was younger, either in medical school or mere years after he graduated. We just don't see a younger Bones in that scene because of artistic license.

I personally just assume Sarek is pretending Sybok doesn't exist during the second season of Disco, much as he and Amanda start pretending Michael doesn't exist in the season 2 finale.
That seems to be Sarek's way.

Sarek treated Spock and Michael as experiments. In fairness, they were successful experiments, though they both had problems growing up, and during their careers. I think it's not unreasonable that Sybok was his first (or maybe there are even more of his children out there) and maybe least successful experment.
