Whose names would you put on the wall?

Oh yes they should go crazy. Jara Rydek, Alex Munro, Va'kel Shon. They did the same in the Obi Wan show with the hidden path wall.
 
While I find this wall to be a bit goofy in principle, I think it would be cool if one of the unknown names they sprinkle in were one that would later be used as a protagonist of a future show. Set up the pedigree of the character we'll get to see in their earlier days.

I feel kinda the issue here is they're referencing people from the already covered eras of Trek but it's been centuries. I think that's the difficulty with having Trek set so far into the future

I just saw Capt Cristobal one one of the images. It’s not clear that it’s Rios at all. I understand that it’s not likely for the producers to come up with an original name. But that Cristobal could be yet another Soong or Noonien-Singh for all anyone knows.
 
Rios was the last name, Cristobal the first.

I’m guessing it’s homage given that Rios’s time in Starfleet was not extraordinary. They could have done a Captain Rios though and have it be a descendent of his that made it through WWIII.

put names in the writing systems of their actual place of birth so much of it is mysterious. vulcan names in vulcan, etc.
