Spoilers Whose names would you put on the wall?

I take it we’ve all seen the ACA trailer by now, and, if you haven’t, know there are spoilers ahead.

Thinking about it for myself, the names that come to mind include:


1. Jonathan Archer

2. Garth of Izar (a great captain Kirk was taught about at the Academy)

3. Christopher Pike (should he be here?)

4. Una (literal poster woman for Starfleet)

5. James T Kirk

6. Spock

7. Admiral Nogura (revered head of Starfleet during its golden exploration era)

8. Rachel Garrett (averted a war that might have destroyed the Federation, by adhering to its principles and helping a longtime foe)

9. Hiraku Sulu (TOS, Chakotay and Janeway revered him, the Excelsior was in the fleet museum)

10. Nyota Uhura (TOS, she’s an admiral and head of Starfleet Intelligence in the 24th Century novel Catalyst of Sorrows)

11. Jean-Luc Picard

12. Benjamin Sisko

13. Data

14. Worf (Horatio Hornblower career)

15. Miles O’Brien (reasons)


The Doctor and Michael Burnham would also be on there, but they’re still alive…

I'd also have her head up Starfleet's Special Warfare Command.

a bunch of names we don't even recognize to get references to and build hundreds of years of History throughout the show and not pigeon hole anyone else into Canon endings

Obviously. I’m asking of the people we already know. And if you want to take a crack at coming up with some of those we don’t, well, I love me some lore.

I haven’t taken a look at the whole list from the trailer yet but I do like how some younger/newer Starfleeters are on there with future ranks. It’s a lovely touch.
 
Ones the audience wouldn't know from 120 to maybe 200 years prior. You know, MORE RECENT and relevant historical figures cadets in the 32nd century could actually relate to.:shrug:

We don't know what the wall is for yet (I think?) so I have no idea who I'd put on there.

All I know is that I'd have legacy characters be a very very very small percentage of it, considering it's been 900 years since Starfleet was founded, they should be vastly out numbered by new names.

Right, but assuming it’s “Starfleet’s finest,” which ones would you put on the wall?
