Whose Getting Assassins Creed 2?

Loving game at moment, an improvement over 1st one and I loved that too. Going slow through game doing alot of side stuff because I want to make the game last long though a friend of mine finished it earlier and he said loved the ending.

here is some sales info...

Ubisoft says its Xbox 360 and PS3 title Assassin's Creed II has sold 1.6 million units worldwide in its first week -- 32 percent more than the original Assassin's Creed sold in the same period of time.

Ubisoft asserts that the original Assassin's Creed, launched in November 2007, is the fastest-selling new video game IP ever in the U.S.

The original game in the franchise the publishers' expectations, selling 8 million units as compared to projections of just 3 million -- with over 2.5 million units sold in its first month alone.

Based on higher preorders and this stronger launch, analysts generally expect the sequel to do even better.
The first Creed has sold over 8 million so if Creed 2 beats that then Ubisoft has done great work.

I will be getting this one way or the other (i.e. either someone will give me it for Xmas or I'll get it when it appears on the trade-in shelves.)

I need time to re-play through the first one anyway...

Just beat it the other night, clocked in at a little over 30 hrs so all and all not a short game.
I still have a few hrs left in it because I ended up with 92 out of the 100 feathers.
I'm not a huge fan if the seek and find crap but there are 2 achievements based on finding all the feathers and the is no way I'm not getting 1000 out of 1000 on this puppy.

I also didn't do the timed roof top races and timed assassinations as they were far too annoying.

Whoa that's hardcore. Yeah I wasn't a big fan of assignations but holy smokes that's hardcore.

Come across a few glitches which is a little annoying one of them had to quit game cause character got stuck. Those puzzle games are just stupid, I see they enjoy smoking pot over at Ubisoft they take you out of the game ruin its flow.

I know it was being turned into a Tomb raider game :p Theres a good chance it will get 9 out of 10 from me but Batman is probably my game of the year because while a lot shorter it offered less anoyances.

Batman is the game of the year. MW2 was hyped. But Batman actually had a first person element and story which made sense.

MW2 may be hyped to a degree, but it's very good and has imo more replayability due to it's kick-ass multiplayer.

So I got the game yesterday... playing it for about three hours and I'm definitely enjoying it. They took what I loved about the first one and improved on the things that needed improving.

I'm playing this on the PS3 btw.

I love how I'm learning about the Renaissance. We didn't really get a lot about that period in my high school history class.

And who knew I would become such an avid art collector.

I am thinking of playing the game in Italian with English subtitles. Sounds fun and I can see how good(bad) my italian is.

Okay, that was pretty hilarious. I picked this up today after taking advantage of some generous thanksgiving deals and while the game play doesn't seem that different (though I am just now getting started as an assasin), they have done a much better job with the plot and characters. One of tweaks that I really appreciate so far is how the guard awareness mechanic has been streamlined to make it a lot easier to see who is suspicious and where they are.

I couldn't finish the first game but I got my 1000 achievements in this game. The only cheat was that I used a guide for the feathers - mostly to keep track of which ones I got more than anything else. I messed up my GTA4 playthrough by collecting pigeons without keeping track (and there were 300 of them I think?!) so I wasn't going to make that mistake again (being stuck at 99 feathers would infuriate me to no end).

Still... I really have no idea what the game is about and I have absolutely no clue what they'll do in the third game. Technically, the world is open for them to do anything and go anywhere... but the story? They really went out to left field.
