Whose Getting Assassins Creed 2?

So will AC3 be about another assassin ancestor of Desmond's? I haven't played AC2, so I don't know of any plot points that might have occurred in AC2 that might change that idea. If so, any ideas in which time period it would be set?

Probably be Desmond himself in present day. ACII tells you how this would happen.

I haven't finished the game yet, so I can't read the spoilers. But personally I'd love it if AC3 took place in France. Running and climbing around Paris would totally kick ass.

Actually the staff from Ubisoft were already talking about other settings so it would seem that some part of 3 will be played in the Animus maybe even several settings. They spoke of stuff like Japan during the Samurai era, WW1 & 2, King Arthur, French Revolution, Napoleonic Wars...were some of there ideas.
