Whose Getting Assassins Creed 2?

This week Assassins Creed 2 hits the shelves in North America and Europe so whose getting it ? Personally I love the original game (in my 9 out of 10 club) and can't wait for the sequel. I was going to get it for Christmas from my parents but now decided to trade in some games (Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, No More Heroes and Call of Duty 4) and pick it up on UK release date this friday.

Anyone else buying Creed 2 ?
 
I'll probably get it, but even though I really liked the first one I do not have overly high hopes for the second. I'm not sure I can explain why, I just don't expect it will rock my socks the way the first one did. Maybe I'm over it a bit, or maybe Batman stole it's thunder, or maybe I'm completely wrong and it'll blow me away.
 
I'm excited about this game for completely the wrong reasons. The reasons are that they recreated awesome Italian cities that I've visited and that there's an option to play the game with the voice acting in Italian with English subtitles.

Sadly, I don't have any console that can play it, nor money to spare. Otherwise, I'd definitely get it.
 
I almost want to get the PS3 version because of interoperability with the PSP game... but, oh well.
 
I've had my copy pre-ordered for a while now. Looking forward to it. Though Dragon Age: Origins is released on the same day over here (at least for the PS3) so I guess I'll have to split my gaming time between the two games.
 
I probably will eventually, but Dragon Age and Modern Warfare 2 are pretty much taking up all my gaming time right now. I likely won't get it until after Mass Effect 2 comes out in late January.
 
I had some large qualms with AC1, so I'm gonna hold off on reviews before picking up AC2. It certainly looks nice, though!
 
Well, I'm 2-3 hrs in and I can say for sure i'm enjoying it much better than the first.

I have yet to do the same type of mission so far.

Unfortunately they still have the collectibles spread around the cities, they replaced flags with feathers. :rolleyes:
 
Looks like they improved a lot on a game that I already really enjoyed. Too many games, too little money.

I liked the first one even though it got a bit repetitive. I'm impressed with the second one. Definitely a lot of good improvements and so far I can easily say it is better than the first.

Some of those mini puzzles are annoying though haha.
