A while back we had a thread on the big three in all of sci-fi. I want to narrow it down a little. Going strictly on print sci-fi (novels and short stories) who are three greatest, most influential, or just your all-time favorite sci-fi writers?
My favorites, in no particular order, would be Harlan Ellison, Isaac Asimov and Arthur C. Clarke.
Please don't tell Harlan that I called him a sci-fi writer, though.![]()
Asimov, Clarke, and Bradbury.
They're not my "favorites" (I don't really read a lot of "hard" sci-fi), but I'd probably put them down as the most influential.
^Looking for more for Science Fiction Museum raid.
Already have Heinlein, Asimov and Clarke slots filled.
Just need three DPS, looking for Herberts, Pournelles and Nivens! Must have Epic novels already published! PST!
