It was a tough decision for me as I personally have two favourites - EMH and B'Elanna Torres. I plumped for Torres partially because I thought EMH would get more votes then her (looks like I'm right thus far LOL). But also because I liked the way the character was developed through the course of the series and think that Dawson is a good actress.

Tuvok is my favorite character alongside the Doctor. Which is why I consider it a shame that after Seven shows up The writers only give Tuvok his own subplot if they pare him up with Neelix, my least favorite character.
