Who's your fav TV couple?

Penny & Desmond, Lost
Mulder & Scully, The X-Files
Tim & Daisy, Spaced
Jonesy & Libby, Carnivale
Sol & Trixie, Deadwood
David & Keith, Six Feet Under
John & Aeryn, Farscape
Robert & Darcy, Jericho
Frank & Catherine, MillenniuM
Ben & Kassidy, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
Galen & Cally, Battlestar Galactica

Yeah, Fred & Wesley from Angel and Willow and Tara from Buffy are probably my two favorites. Does that say something about me?

John Crichton and Aeryn Sun (Farscape)
Max Evans and Liz Parker (Roswell)
^oh, I liked Maria and Michael better :techman:

I gotta agree with Trippy. Max & Liz were boring. Michael & Maria were the ones that really made the show interesting.

Then there was the New Year's Eve episode "A Tale of Two Parties" (complete with misleading UPN promo) that mix-matched all the couples for one night. I thought the Max/Maria combination had some interesting potential. I think that Maria could be a big help at teaching Max to just lighten up a little.

Baltar & Head-Six (BSG)

I forgot about this one. I've been in love with that pairing ever since "Pegasus."

Jim and Pam
Penny and Desmond
Roslin and Adama
C.J. and Danny
Coach Taylor and Tami Taylor

Sheridan and Delenn have been enjoyable so far as well, though I'm only halfway through season 3.

^ Darn! You beat me to it. It's definitely Alan & Denny.

Hard to beat these two as best friends.

Spader and Shatner deserve all the awards heaped on them for these roles. They are just awesome - and together that awesomeness is compounded by far more than double.

Brilliantly played! :techman:

But in terms of true romantic 'couples', I'll go with:

Scifi:

Aeryn Sun/John Crichton - Farscape
Sheridan/Delenn - Babylon 5
Liz Parker/Max Evans - Roswell
Mulder & Scully - The X-Files

Non-scifi:

Derek 'McDreamy' Sheppard and Meredith Grey - Grey's Anatomy

Me, too. I much preferred Chandler and Monica to the uber-irritating Ross & Rachel.

Meh. Both Chandler and Ross were so mercilously pushed around by Monica and Rachel, that I found it difficult to like either couple.

If a woman pushed me around the way Monica did to Chandler, I wouldn't even bother with a divorce, I'd just go.

But that's why they worked. Chandler needed someone to give him direction in life (why he was attracted to Janice) and Monica needed someone to teach her to 'chill out'

In order;

Aeryn and John. (Farscape)
Delenn and John. (Babylon 5)
Lyta and Zack (Babylon 5)*
Marge and Homer Simpson. (Simpsons)
Kermit and Miss Piggy (Muppet Show)
Dr Greene and Dr Courday (ER)
Fred and Wesley. (Angel)
Monica and Chandler. (Friends)

(* They shared a pizza. They count dammit!:scream:)

Let's not forget the family members who sometimes can be far more interesting, chemistry-wise, than most romantic couples:

Nathan & Peter, Heroes (seriously this time ;))
Peter & Claire, Heroes
Dexter & Deb, Dexter
Luke & Leia, Star Wars OT

Dennis & Dee from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia are also fun, tho I have this feeling that now that Charlie is a faux-bro of a sort, he and Dee will be an even better team...

I can't believe no one's mentioned Commander Riker and Counseler Troi yet!

Riker and Troi :)
Sandra Benes and Paul Morrow (Space 1999)
Margot and Jerry Leadbetter (The Good Life)
Avon and Sevalan (kinda - Blakes Seven)
Buffy and Angel
Greg Sumner and Paige Matheson (Knots Landing)
Baltar and Six
Tony and Brenda (dinnerladies)
9 and Rose
Monica and Richard (Friends)
Methos and Alex (Highlander)

In order;
Lyta and Zack (Babylon 5)*

Oh, I love that scene. :) And in a similar vein:
Garbialdi and the groundpounder (B5)

Tim and Jill Taylor - "Home Improvement". I honestly feel they're one of the most believable couples on TV even though the whole thing's a comedy. I always really enjoy watching the two.

Other ones I really like have already been mentioned (e.g. Adama and Roslin).
