who you think the new batman in comic should be?

It should be Bruce Wayne...but Dick deserves another shot at it now that seems willing and ready for it. Prodigal was like a sneak peak but ultimately Dick was forced into accepting the cowl because of the Jean-Paul debacle. I wonder if Tim would accept knowing what he knows from the Titans Tomorrow future?

Bruce Wayne. I just hope this Battle for the Cowl nonsense is over quickly, as I do not have the desire to read about a Non-Bruce Wayne Batman for the long haul....

In the interim, Nightwing. In the long run, Bruce Wayne.

I mean really they're not going to permanently remove Bruce at Bats in the very same year his movie became the highest grossing movie short of Titanic! Maybe they'll wait long enough to time his return with the next movie, in 3-4 years.

I read a few days ago - on IMDB news though - that people were reading too much into the death of Bruce Wayne. I'm not entirely sure he won't continue to be Batman.

He's clearly not dead during RIP - I don't understand how so many people have missed this. It's him who is writing in his black casebook, dead people don't write in books. Moreover, his appearance in Final Crisis is after this.

In addition, Dido has always said that of course Bruce Wayne will come back - it's just another storyline in serial fiction - got to keep people buying.

Tim could do it, but recent issues of Robin (which are post-R.I.P.) show that he doesn't want the responsibility.

Dick could do it, but I think he'd turn out to be more like the Silver Age Batman; he's a team player, not a loner.

I'm thinking either Jason or Jean-Paul, who was revealed not to be dead in a recent issue of Booster Gold.

In Booster Gold #10, Rip Hunter's chalkboard has a note that reads "Jean-Paul Valley lives!" So, either he didn't die when shot, or Superboy-Prime's reality punches brought him back.
