Who Would You Kill Off?

Worf should've topped himself in Ethics.

Then we could have kissed goodbye to those BORING Kilngon honour (or lack of it) based episodes.

I voted Troi.
I would have voted Weasley, no problem,
but he wasn't on the list. GRRRRR
It was a hard choice to make.

^^He was a character but not a main character probably...? He was in the series of course, but not enough to be a main character in my opinion.

I think they didn't put Wesley in the poll because they knew everyone would vote for him. Although I did like the idea of replacing Will Riker with Tom.

Another vote here for Troi. Worthless character and she deserves a fate worse than death simply because of Lwaxana.

Dammit! I wanted to vote for Wesley!

Guess I'll have to go with Troi. Not that I don't like her but I just like everyone else more. :)

As for Wesley though...

p.s. Refresh that link once loaded to get the video and sound in sync.

edit: I think it's funny that no one's voted for Data and yet he was the one to be killed off in Nemesis.

It would have only developed more of the "Sexual Relationship, and Love interest" between Riker and Troi... We would have seen more of the Imzadi part of the story... Them being bound as lovers many years before coming on board Enterprise - D.

(If Tom Riker would have replaced Will...)

As for the timeline of getting her back quicker than Nemesis. I don't think so... Reference the two TREK Novels: "Imzadi","Imzadi 2: Love Triangle." by Peter David. (which both are quite excellent)

There is an minor explaination of why Riker and Troi backed off between each other as being lovers.

By the way: If you want the down and dirt of Riker and Troi, read the novels,!

Personally, as a fan of Trek, if they would have based of these novels, I think it would have been a smoother episode.

(The love triangle book DOES include Tom Riker BTW...)

NAAH then who would Jean Luc Bonk when he was really bored, or captured by aliens and a long cylindrical spark plug is glued to thier neck...

Beverly. She is deperate and horny enough after all being widowed. It was all Picards fault for Jack Crusher being killed.

Dude, I bet she was nailing Picard while still married to Jack. Part of me wants to make up a convoluted subplot that Picard is actually Wesley's father!

I voted Picard,

He needs to make room for another captain, he's been a captain for what like almost 50 years. Time to give the seat up and just go grow some F*&^ing grapes.

In terms of character qualities or character story, probably Worf. He’s your quintessential Star Trek Klingon warrior, takes so many risks in line the of duty, lives for battle & all that, so it’s surprising he hasn’t been killed in action yet. He's very lucky to still be alive. Note I don’t have anything against Worf or Dorn, it’s just what I think would be a natural or a great way to end his character.

However for me in terms of personal preferences, it'd easily be Troi. One of the most useless characters ever on Trek....

I voted Picard - only because he would become a Starfleet legend - plus as Sec31Mike said he's been Captain for decades he needs to go out on a high, not fade away.

Troi

I believe TNG would've been a stronger show without a character that all but became scenery in later seasons.
