Who Would You Kill Off?

Well, I'm not into killing. And I was sad when Tasha bit the dust. But if someone on your list has to go, it should be Troi. Wesley would be my first choie, but he wasn't listed.

i voted dr. crusher, not because she's my least favorite character, but it would have been fascinating to see picard deal with that loss, esp if it was later in the shows run as opposed to season 1 or 2.

Ya had to give the option to kill everyone else off, didn't ya? I can't pick a main character if there's an option to kill off others! Too hard to choose among them! I just know I WOULD NOT kill off Data. I'm ticked that he was killed off in Nemesis anyway.

Though I suppose if I absolutely HAD to pick a main character, it should be Worf because he would be happy to die with honor.

I think that they could have easily kept everyone alive and still made Nemesis a good movie. There are other ways of generating drama ...

I personally would not have minded at all had William Riker been killed off and replaced by Thomas Riker from the episode "Second Chances."

As the writers originally envisioned, it would have been cool seeing Jonathan Frakes wearing the gold uniform as the ops lieutenant, while seeing Brent Spiner wearing the command red uniform as the first officer.

I don't want any of them killed off :(

* fires a phaser at whoever voted for Riker * :p

no not troi... riker would use the damn guardian and fix time and bring her back... i liked her after she earned her lt. commander's stripes anyway. she wore the uniform and was better than that purple low cut...

I agree more... WESLEY CRUSHER MUST DIE!

He is such a weenie... *gimmie the phaser* ZAP!!!!

Nathaniel

i picked crusher cause she was such a weak character and also because it would have made Weasley more interesting and less of a wuss. Picard would also be torn and would maybe find a new crew member to confide in. maybe Dr Bashir from DS9 could have replaced her! or maybe even Robert Piccardo!!

Q (to Worf) "Eat any good books lately?"

If there is no Wesley choice, I'd chose Picard, it would have made a better story if they had not recovered Picard at the end of Best of Both Worlds.

I also vote for Will to be replaced by Tom.

Then, Riker would have endedup with Deanna a lot earlier than "Nemesis." ;)

LaForge- he's just soooo bland.I can see O'Brien or Scotty as engineers-underneath some sparking machinery with a screwdriver in one hand and a mess of wires in the other ,but all LaForge does is look pensive while tapping some buttons and probably beaming a cup of Earl Grey to the bridge.I don't get his character at all.

^^^

If there was anything that needed to be solved mechanically, it was usually Data to the rescue when it came to fixing anything mechanical aboard the Enterprise-D. Which probably just left Geordi manning the engines most of the time. He was efficient, but certainly not a tinkerer or the "miracle worker."

I agree about La Forge to an extent. IMO, he was so much better in the first season as Flight Controller, and he was given chances to develop his character, such as taking command in The Arsenal of Freedom.

After making Chief Engineer, he just seemed to become bland suddenly.

I liked Geordi better when he was Helmsman, because there's something nice about the idea of a blind man steering the ship.

I'm gonna get serious flak for this one, but I think I'd have killed off Picard at the end of "Best of Both Worlds" by having the destruction of the Borg Cube kill him. It would've been one of the biggest moments in all of Trek, right there with Spock's death.
