Top of my list would be Jessica Fletcher because if I was her neighbour I would be murdered within a week.

Dwayne Johnson. I don't have anything against him but everytime a smell wafted over from his side of the fence someone would inevitably go "Can you smell what the Rock is cooking?" I think after a week of that I'd murder someone.

When I lived with my family in Toronto we had a neighbour who'd yell at me and my brothers if we accidently threw some snow on his property when we were shovelling the driveway (it would land on th edge of his lawn, not his driveway). He was the classic "Git off mah lawn!" asshole, and we had the bad luck to live next door to him for over 10 years. He was so petty he once called the police on new neighbours a few doors down who were having a bonfire rather than approaching the people himself and telling them that bonfires were against local by-laws. The really sad thing was that he went on to develop Alzheimer's, and no one actually noticed until his wife asked us to let her know if we saw him walking down the street as he'd started to wander. His wife was a sweet lady, but she was completely isolated from all the neighbours thanks to him.

The creepy guy next door peeks over the fence and blows his leaves into our yard. It doesn't get much more annoying than that.

Like it's not bad enough he has Mel Gibson coming over spouting racial epithets every day, then he invites Gary Busey and Joe Pesci over too? Talk about a perfect storm of crazy.

First it's rogue ex-CIA drug dealers firing machine guns and crashing cars through the house, then it's rogue South African diplomats blowing up toilets, then it's gangbangers hanging out with his son, then it's rogue ex-cop real estate developers, then it's Chinese illegal aliens in his house... It's never-ending. Don't even ask how he freaked out when I asked his daughter out on a date.

There have been more kidnappings, shootings, and police homicides in this neighborhood than in most mid-size cities. Plus, I'm pretty sure his scuzzy real estate agent is getting him illegal backdated permits for building that extension on the house.

You made me think of a documentary I saw about Hitler's family. His half-brother, also named Hitler, had a son who went to America at some point. There's a newsreel of him denouncing his uncle (or half-uncle) during WWII.

This Hitler had two or three sons who according to the documentary lives in America today. Considering the infamy of their great uncle, they are keeping their identities secret having changed their names. For all you or I know, one could be a neighbor. Imagine that.

I had a couple of neighbours who did this. They had several cars on their front lawns, several in the back yards and weeds and long grass growing everywhere. Both families were white Australian - though technically one guy was a British citizen but he he had lived in Australia since he was two years old. Despite their yards looking so bad they were tolerable neighbours in most other ways.

I already dislike my neighbors--the redneck family who have garbage all over the yard, let their dog poop all over our grass, and have hung up so many windchimes that it's like living next to Notre Dame.

Such slobs can be of any nationality as I tried to point out in my post. My slob neighbours were Australian/English born.
