Has the Federation ever lost a war?
Since they'd be at war with each other, any and all previous treaties would be dead. There's no point in honoring them when you're at war. The Federation would deploy their own cloaking technology. A war between the Romulans and Federation could go either way but I have to say that the Federation would win. The Romulans failed to conquer the humans and their allies pre-Federation. They'd fail again now. This would also give the Klingons an excuse to go to war with the Romulans.Apogeal Alpha01 said:
Feds, Feds, Rommies. In a war, what do you bet the Feds wouldn't deploy ships with the Romulan cloaking technology? Former agreements be damned! Of course, there isn't war on the horizon, is there?

And I believe the cloaking technology in the Federation hands, though it was shown during TNG that it wasn't yet perfected, would be more advanced.

Deploy a cloaked, interphasicly shielded bomb (thanks, I forgot what it was called) while briefly decloaking? That would work.
Would firing while cloaked, be of significant advantage against cloaked ships?
