Who were your favorite sitcom neighbors?

I thought Flanders myself but I also love Rose on Two and a Half Men.
I'll buck all trends and pick the owl from The Critic.

But yes, in all seriousness, Flanders pretty much defines 'sitcom neighbour' for me. The characters funny when the joke is how insufferably nice he is than the often more mean-spirited religious right caricature he's also shown as.
^The Critic was epic of all proportians and that's why it rocked.

Jerry Seinfeld had awesome neighbors. Of course there is Kramer...but Newman is great too. "Hello, Newman."
I also like the Jeffersons alot better as neighbors on AItF than on their own show.

The only TV comedies I like (The Red Green Show, Corner Gas) are both neighbor-less. 
Meaning this: The events of those shows almost never took place AT a character's home so usually we see the characters all together in one place - Possum Lodge (in Red Green's case) or the Ruby/Corner Gas station in the latter.
