Who watches andromeda?

There are only 2 episodes (both from early season 1) I remember thinking were really worth watching; "D Minus 0", where the ship comes under attack from a mysterious ship, and the crew (well, mainly Kevin Sorbo) have to out think them to defeat them, and "Angel Dark, Demon Bright", where they end up back in time at a key battle in history and are presented with some interesting choices as to how or whether they should interfere. The second one is a particular favourite.

Oh, and then there's this line from "The Mathematics of Tears":

Tyr: They were playing Wagner. It's the most fun I've had in about six months.

I watched the show up until the beginning of season 5. It's one of the rare scifi shows that I actually watched as it aired, and not some time later on DVD or reruns. Because of that I had something of an attachment to the series, and convinced myself at the time that it was still watchable even when it really wasn't. Season 5 convinced even me, though, that it was time to just get out.

I'd watch the series through "Into the Labyrinth", episode nine of season 2. Not only is it one of the best episodes of the series, it's also the last episode to deal with the main story arcs prior to RHW's departure.
The episode ends with the biggest victory yet for Dylan's commonwealth, the signing of the mutual defense pact and the addition of the huge Sabra/Jaguar Nietzchean alliance (with its military, the third largest in the known worlds), an arguably more satisfying note to end on then what would eventually become of the commonwealth story arc in later seasons. Hell, the minor victory Harper has over the Spirit of the Abyss here is handled better than its eventual defeat in season 5 too. All in all, a good place to end it, given the options.
