Where's the option at for the ship's computer? It seems most of the ships could really fly themselves.

Tom wins it for me too. He'd be what I imagine I'll be if I was a Star Trek character, minus Starfleet, the Maquis, and the Delta quadrant.

Paris.

I prefer Captain Sulu over Helsman Sulu though he was a close second.

Also, I think Ro Laren is a glaring omission. Might need to start a write-in campaign ;)

Voyager's original helmsperson, before they were pulled into the delta quad.

:)

I don't even remember him (probably because I'm male). Poor fella died in that very first episode just to clear the way to Tom Paris. How does an actor feel in a role like that? It reminds me of that guy who got at the helm just to be killed by that alien in "Where Silence Has Lease." Really sad.

But one of the greatest moments at the helm is when that thief tries to ridicule Wesley for being a child, and then Wesley makes him look like a child.

You mean Lt. Veronica Stadi. She was a female Betazoid (Memory Beta).
It´s crying shame that she was killed, but the job was meant to be for Tom.

Ha, you're right, I just looked. How interesting it would be with a Betazoid on the bridge again. I believe in one episode Janeway says something like: "What I wouldn't give for a Betazoid right now."

Janeway had awful luck when it came to Betazoid's

Stadi - Dead

Suder - Dead

Unamed Betazoid female ("Counterpoint") - Dead as a few episodes laterJaneway says she doesn't have any.

Yeah, I forgot about her. She was a temporary character and a traitor though. :cardie:
