Who Should Do the Novelization?

Just like the movie itself they wanted the novelization to be done by a well known author who has never written a Star Trek book before. They asked me but I turned them down. I don't know who got the job.

Where can I pick up your work? Because if we've got a well-known author around here who actually turned down a Trek job, that's got my curiosity piqued. :vulcan:

I was just kidding. I have trouble writing a good paragraph, much less a book. Sorry if it wasn't obvious.

^ The number of possible reasons is huge -- two possibilities are that they don't want to announce it until the final manuscript is approved or they're waiting for a big convention (New York Comic-Con, Shore Leave) to make the announcement.

Hey, I was willing to invite them to Polaris to do it, but you wouldn't tell me who it was. :p

(And now my author budget is pretty well gone... a new addition to the signature is coming soon. Well, two. Though if Pocket wanted to contribute with a view towards making it part of the publicity for the movie, I wouldn't necessarily say no. ;) )
