Who remembers Universal's "Action Pack" line of TV shows from the 90s?

Re: Who remembers Universal's "Action Pack" line of TV shows from the

Who would Night Man's arch nemesis be? Morning Hangover?

Kieran Keyes. He was kind of a Lex Luthor type corporate villain. He had a bunch of schemes (one that resulted in the death of NightMan's dad) which NightMan thwarted, but he could never really pin Keyes to the crime and expose his evil ways (though it was implied that they finally exposed him in the season/series ender).

I watched and loved Hercules, Xena, and Jack of All Trades. I was always upset that JOAT got canned and C2525 survived (I didn't really like C2525 all that much).

Man, I miss all those cheesy '90s syndicated shows. Most of them used to air on Saturday in the area I was in. That was a great day. :D

Oh, gods, Night Man. That was awful. They really overloaded the character with superpowers. He had built-in superpowers like the psychic stuff, he had a supersuit with more powers than Iron Man's armor, and he even had a hologram projector to give himself an alibi while he was off superheroing. Come on, guys, pick a theme! Don't just drag every superpower out of the bargain bin and stick it onto the same character! He was too powerful to be interesting.

That, and it was stupid.

Though even Night Man was more watchable than Black Scorpion. Ugh, I don't think I ever got through more than ten minutes of that.

I loved the parts in Nightman when they were shown driving. It was all green screen or a backdrop.

And yet the Night Man TV series was rather faithful to the comic book version of the character.

Bahahahaha. I haven't thought about that stuff in years.

Awesome.
