Whose replicator rations are deducted when a someone eats/drinks in the holodeck?

does the computer automatically deduct from whoever is ordering?

DUDE! Its not real! Its just a TV show. Just watch the show. This is too trival. Trekkies worry about too much details like numbers of torpodeo launchers DS9 has.....

Sure thing.

As shown in the fifth season premiere, everyone had a schedule for the holodeck. I'd say that whoever logged into the program was the one who gave up replicator rations. Now, for group programs like the resort, Sandrine's & Fair Haven, I would think that each individual was responsible for themselves.

I think it's more like holodeck ratios.

Otherwise the entire crew would be having dinner in the holodeck for 75 years.

I prefer to worry about too MANY details, such as grammar and sentence structure.

12?

I thought they initially went with rations for both the replicator and holodeck. I have no idea where that came from though.

I would imagine that they were all issued a certain amount of ration points a month. If they tried to go over them then the machine would not let them exceed the limit.

Only that? with 5000 photons armed and ready to launch it would take forever to use them up!

The food is real in the holodeck? Yeah, why not. Huh. Of course it is. Robin Picard and his Merry band would have starved otherwise.

Mmmm I'm pretty sure Picard et al were in a Q created reality not the holodeck.

I think it's been drilled into us enough to know that the holodeck is nothing but photons and forcefields, but I think it was Data that also said the holodeck also used some replicating in its reproduction of items.

I would imagine he was referring to clothing and food that people picked up to use while there.

I can't imagine the computer system on Voyager not being advanced enough to keep a figure on each crewman's tab. I'd say they all paid for their own stuff regardless of who was running the program. That only seems fair.
