Who never guest starred on TOS that should have?

. . . Honor Blackman - hmmm, hard to place. Possibly one of Muldaur's roles. Or Rom Commander?
Honor Blackman would have made a great Romulan.

Hmm, I musht be dreaming...

Of course, Anthony Zerbe has done Trek, as Admiral Dougherty in Insurrection.

That's not TOS. :)

It wasn't?!? Man, I thought that Kirk looked really different without his toupee!

I see you're from the "Chris Pine Generation.";)

This increasingly younger internet's really got me down.

As for Zerbe, he was at his maniacal best from the mid-1960s to about 1974-75, when he became "respectable."

You would be wrong on that. I'm nearly 39 and I've been watching trek since it was in syndication in the 1970s. I liked the 2009 movie & thought that Pine did a fine job, but TOS will always be "my" Trek, and Shatner will always be THE Captain Kirk.

This increasingly younger internet's really got me down.

Me too. Young whipersnappers -- Get off my lawn!!!

^ Is it just me, or do half the debates on the internet these days come down to "cranky old coots who think everything's going downhill" versus "callow youngsters who have no appreciation for anything made before they were born"?

Honestly, sometimes I don't know which side to root for! :)

I like that some of the "youngsters" are older than the coots. :guffaw:

Somebody over at another message board nicely summarized this eternal battle as "My nostalgia is more important than your nostalgia!"

Just wait until twenty years from now . . . when people are insisting that Twilight and Pirates of the Caribbean are infinitely better than that crap they're making nowadays!

The other half of those debates would be the eternal "That's not canon!" skirmishes; that's what TrekBBS has taught me. :) The next thing you know, they'll claim The Great Bird of the Galaxy wasn't infallible!

I'm envisioning a pop-up of a pie on someone's computer monitor that shockingly materializes instantly into the real thing and smacks them in the face.

Maybe Gary Wallace and Wyatt Donnelly could be in charge of this software development. In the early 1980's, using what appeared to be nothing more than Apple II technology, these two young men succeeded in getting a real live half-naked Kelly LeBrock to materialize out of their computer monitor.
