Who Might've Been...

The best I could find of Capaldi blowing his top at everyone was this:

...oh my...

:guffaw:

He's definitely one of THE best actors ever as the Doctor for sure. But as Sisko? I'm not entirely sure, but not entirely unsure either.
I think Capaldi would make an excellent Romulan. :rommie:

Nice overview, thanks! :) I'd not seen either the main show or the spinoff, and the witticisms used in the clips (even with pottymouth galore from everybody) certainly piqued my interest.Even South Park would faint in awe over it. :guffaw:

You're welcome. If it helps, In the Loop is a film set in the same 'universe' as The Thick of It, but the only characters from the series who turn up are Malcolm Tucker and his attack dog, Senior Press Officer Jamie McDonald. Whilst the series focuses on Tucker dealing with the incompetencies of Nicola Murray at the Department of Social Affairs and Citizenship, the film focuses on Tucker dealing with the incompetencies of Simon Foster at the Department of International Development.

Many of the regular cast appear, playing different but slightly similar roles to the ones they play in the series, which is possibly a comment on the homogenised nature of bureaucrats. For example, Chris Addison plays Ollie Reeder, Junior Policy Advisor to Nicola Murray, in The Thick of It; whereas he plays Toby Wright, Junior Policy Advisor to Simon Foster, in In the Loop.

Basically, the film is a missing adventure for Malcolm Tucker. Showing us what else he gets up to when he's not giving someone a bollocking at DoSAC.
