Who is your fav Jeffrey Combs character?

I gave it to Shran, but the truth is, all of his characters were incredible. I just felt that Shran had the best opportunity to be more well developed than the others. Jeffrey Combs is truly an under-rated actor.

WEyoun. Shran was a little too shrill and intense. WEyoun was sutble, devious and somewhat likeable. Charming like a Cobra. I like Cobras. :D Brunt was too, "Of Ferenginar". Though he was entertaining as he kissed up to Quark while he thought he would be the new Negas. And he was very good in The Magnificent Ferengi.

No doubt, Jeffrey Combs is one of my fav Trek actors. Imo,he did more than, or maybe as much, as anyone else could have with Brunt and Shran.

Oh, who cares? This sort of casual casting attitude, and the forehead-of-the-week, really turned me off. I find his approach vaguely similar no matter what alien, which is all that can be expected of any single actor.

Far better to really open it up to multiple interpretations by many thinking artists.

Apparently Weyoun is Combs' own favorite of all the trek parts he's done.

Me, I prefer Shran. He's not an annoying twit like Weyoun. Shran's relationship with Archer is also a strong point, IMHO. When they first met, Shran was basically torturing Archer (regarding the P'Jem monastery), but as ENT went on, they became fast friends and allies. I liked that.

I'm definitely interested to know how, as Manny Coto once said, Shran would have joined Archer's crew if ENT had made it to a fifth season. I wonder what role Shran would have played. Probably the MACO commander.

Weyoun, absolutely no contest. Even though Brunt was funny in "The Magnificent Ferengi".

The Ferengi that Combs played in ENT - can't remember the name - is probably notable, though...given what happened in that episode, he probably invented the Vulcan Love Slave holoprogram.

I'd have to agree. Although he wasn't the first vorta we saw, he really went a long way in defining how the Vorta behaved.

I'd say Shran came a close second, but I am a die hard DS9 fan. :)

Does anyone else find it as absolutely hilarious when Worf snaps Weyoun 7's neck as much as I do???
hahaha
Followed by Damar pissing himself laughing.

Weyoun was just a pure evil character. I loved how Combs would deliver lines that almost seemed pleasing when he offed someone: "Yes, you truly did try your best, didn't you. Well, we're going to kill you now, so buh-bye."
there is no way in the world you can call Weyoun "pure evil". he was far, FAR more complex and deep a character than that.

which is also why he is JC's best character.

I thought he was funny.

In fact, he has more than one of the all-time classic DS9 quotes to his credit.

"Well, time to start packing!"

Shoot...I even play off him with my rank line: "The Founder is wise!" ;)

In short, Weyoun rocks!
