Who is the worst character in any of the trek series?

To make it harder to choose you must pick someone who was on the credits of a star trek show. I was torn between two and decided my least favourite is chakotay because his dialogue is poor in my opinion and i could never believe him as a maquis fighter.

Worst TNG: Troi
Worst DS9: N/A (All the main cast are great!)
Worst VOY: Chakotay
Worst ENT: Archer
Worst JJ-Trek: Scotty

Overall though? I'd name Chakotay.

All mine are characters who never developed and whose actors hadn't the gravitas to make them deeper:

TOS: Rand
TNG: Troi (even Weasley technically developed)
DS9: Jake (he never quite grew up)
VOY: Kim
ENT: Mayweather
JJ Trek: Chekov

I have to give Kim the award: he had the most opportunities to develop.

TOS: Hmm...not sure at the moment.
TNG: I don't dislike anyone. But I guess I'll say Wesley since he bounced halfway through the show and it disappointed me the first time I watched it. Not sure why everyone hates on Wesley, but I was kind of mad when he left.
DS9: Love them all...but I suppose...Jake was the most useless.
VOY: If I HAVE to choose, I suppose Kes.
ENT: I'll say Malcolm Reed. Not enough development and I didn't find myself caring much about him.
JJ-Trek: Chekov was a little bit annoying in STID.

ENT: Archer

Archer, Kira and Worf because all three are the same character that is always angry about... something.

DS9: Worf - Got kinda sick of him and his honour
VOY: Seven - Overused to the point of being dull and uninteresting
ENT: Archer - How did he become Captain?
NuTrek: NuUhura - She is just awful

If I had to choose one, since she's here to stay for at least one more film to grate on every single nerve I have, it's got to be NuUhura.

Voy Chakotay.....cant have one chakotay storyline without his heritage coming up and him having a stupid visionquest.

I will have to go with Riker on this one; he serves no purpose. On a much brighter note however, I will say that in in most series they did a superb job casting the doctor. As hated as "Enterprise" is; the doctor is just great as is the other much hated "Voyager" doctor.

Hmm... between Harry "Cardboard" Kim and Jonathan "Double Dumbass" Archer... gotta choose Archer. At least Harry's character flaws and screw ups were on a much smaller scale.

If it weren't just series/film regulars, it'd obviously be Vic Fontaine. But under these circumstances, Kes or Mayweather. Really not because they were totally unlikable (like Fontaine), but because they were basically complete blank slates.

Edit: Oh, if Abrams Trek counts, then everybody in Abrams Trek not Kirk, Spock or Uhura. Worst casting ever. Other than those three the cast were treated as throwaway characters.
