Um.. the whole Leah Brahms thing was a bit unethical. Having a romantic relationship with an accurate holographic representation of a living person. I guess you could say Barclay's guilty of this stuff also with his holodeck programs.

People are free to fantasize about what they want as long as they don't share it with others (which neither Geordi nor Barclay intended to do). If you spy on someone's secret garden and find things that shock you then it's your fault, not his. If someone shares things with you that cause shock or disgust then he's the guilty one. IOW, nothing is more unethical than violating someone's private life!
The problem with Geordi is he's self-centered, with Scotty, with the real Leah Brahms. He's real short on empathy for others, & sometimes he's just real short with people in general, particularly guests who differ with him. It's not terrible, mind you, but enough to knock him off the top spot of moralness
Nah... he is a creep! Love how he runs in and the 'oh shit i'm caught' stance! Geordi really need to better safeguard his 'Special' programs

Picard was pretty moral about not sacrificing that borg in I, Borg but later on when that admiral told him to cut that out and use every advantage against the borg he just said "Yes Sir." He also didn't stand up for the colony in that forced relocation episode...
I always thought Riker was pretty moral that time the crystalline entity ate his girlfriend and he still didn't seek vengeance but instead he laid out a pretty good case for taking it out, and then when Picard disagreed he just followed orders not to harm it. Plus Riker frequently gave Data some good fatherly advice

I think Data has been written a little inconsistently. Sometimes he speaks like he understands emotions while repeating that he does not and some other time he makes remarks that are incredibly naive and stupid for someone who's not a small child.
True. In many cases Data even gives me the impression of someone who simply does not know he is experiencing some (repressed) emotions rather than of a character who doesn't experience emotions at all. But perhaps that's just my unconscious anthropomorphisation of Data, as well.
I blame sloppy writing for that.
Girlfriend is a bit of a stretch. They just met.

Conversely, I always thought it was all a poorly veiled, socially palatable way to color their intention to make bumpy noises in her tent later, as being classically honorable. I never thought for an instance that Will Riker, of all people, was planning to settle down with that lady on her colony world, for the rest of his life. He was running game on her imho, & she seemed savvy enough to know that, (Which Will likely knew too) & she was just going along with it, because it's probably lonely at night around there, & Will seemed like a good diversion
Edit: You know... now that I think about it. Picard's remark about Will being emotionally affected by her death, seems a little tone deaf to me.

I always read that scene and his connection to her as they have been at least very friendly for a while, as they have been setting up on that world for some time. And that night was likely one of several that occured between them.
