I know it's not well liked but I quite like Another Way to Die. It has a raw unfinished quality that makes it a very good fit for QoS (Full disclosure, I'm one of those weird people who actually likes QoS...)

I didn't like it, but it was mostly due to the composition. I have no problems with either Jack White or Alicia Keys, I just felt the song didn't work.

"Dance into the Fire" is my favorite Bond theme. Terrible film, but Duran Duran is full-on 80s awesome.

I don't even remember it.

"Goldfinger" is easily the most famous, though "Live and Let Die" gives it a run for its money on account of it being a Paul McCartney & Wings song. I hear it frequently on the classic rock stations.

Pfft, the best Bond title track doesn't even have words. John Barry's OHMSS score wins hands down...

Goldfinger, Live and Let Die, A View to a Kill (there's a reason it's the highest charting Bond theme and the video is hilarious), The Living Datlight and I Know Your Name are all great. I like Skyfall too.

I don't even remember most of the themes (although I recognize them when I hear them). I remember "Live And Let Die" because it was so great and "For Your Eyes Only" because it was so bad. :rommie:

A View to a Kill shares the highest charting Bond theme with Skyfall, both reaching a peak of Number 2 (in the UK charts).

Besides if we are counting instrumental then that would bring in the main Bond theme. Which has to be among the most iconic Film music.

The correct answer is, of course, Connery.

This is also completely correct.

True, but for me the OHMSS theme is even better than the 007 theme.
Agreed. Of course it's only fitting that the best Bond movie also has the best music.

The worst one is just as easy. "For Your Eyes Only" is awful - mawkish, saccharine and boring. "The Man With the Golden Gun" is pretty pathetic, too, and I'm not a fan of "The Living Daylights" either. "All Time High" is just bland.

The best Bond theme, for me, is 'A View to a Kill' but score? Certainly OHMSS, like others have said. John Barry's best work.

I've always loved Moonraker because it's just barking, and Big Rog at perhaps his most casual & louche. Plus everything Michael Lonsdale said as Drax was pure gold, easily the best villain one-liners of the series.

John Barry did a lovely score for that film too.

Moonraker would have been better if they kept the plot from the book. Craig could pull it off.

An entire film set on an airbase full of Germans with odd moustaches?

Can't see that killing at the boxoffice...

Someone off topic, but does anyone know if the producers are still precluded from using anything from The Spy Who Loved Me aside from title?

I'm writing a fanfic script actually, Sherlock TV-movie style, that does a version of Moonraker from the book, only given a modern spin. I believe it's doable, but you have to tweak a fair bit to work nowadays, and I'm not sure it's quite strong enough for a Craig movie.
