With all of the folks around here that are so well versed in film history, I 'm surprised that no one's come up with an obvious answer. Lon Chaney. Just look him up!!!!
Interesting idea. I'm not familiar with most of James Daly's works, but it's interesting to think that they (just about) all happened and it was just Flint in a new life running around and pretending he was an average Joe.
Here's a few more lifetimes that Flint (James Daly) engaged in:
* the criminal Barabbas (Hallmark Hall of Fame - he was also Lazarus around that time, changing the Biblical narrative a bit)
* advertising executive Gart Williams (The Twilight Zone - he probably woke up annoyed in the funeral home)
* two different people in The Fugitive (Michael Ballinger & Arthur Brame) and The Invaders (Alan Landers & General ConCannon), which makes me wonder how and why Flint disguised himself in front of the respective protagonists.
* he's probably not the ape Judge Honorious (Planet of the Apes) - unless we assume he continues to live forever, learns to travel to alternate realities, and disguises himself as an orangutan judge. I guess that means he finally died when the Earth blew up.
He conquered both Egypt and Persia. He hung out with Jesus and King Arthur. He lived through the horrors of the Bubonic plague and the artwork of Reginald Pollack. He could miniaturize and suspend enormous starships into three-foot models, which doesn't really make sense at all but is just something that happened.
He is... the most interesting guest star in the third season of Star Trek.
