Who else remembers this...

BARBARELLA-era Jane was the hottest. After her early '80s workout videos, though, she went downhill faster than Steve-O on a crapper sled. Sorry to say, but it's true.

She's still a good-looking woman for someone her age and she's not a bad actress. But I'm at least 20 years too young to find her actively hot. (I'm 37 and I like older women--GILFs, if you will--but Jane's outside my tolerances. Now Helen Mirren--yowza!)

That schedule would usually remain pretty much intact for at least thirteen weeks, and most of it for at least a season. This business of ordering thirteen episodes and then deciding later to either extend the order another nine or not came later.
Well, NOWADAYS 22 episodes is de riguer, but remember that for MOST of its seasons (sequels included), TREK gave up 26.

Remember when shows like GET SMART or GREEN ACRES would crank out more like 30 a season?

Having been born in 1970, I don't remeber this, but I thought it was a well documented fact that Star Trek premeired Sept 8, 1966. Why does this thing say Sept. 15?

Explained in Dennis' post, above.

Only thing I can think of is that September 15 actually was the "official" premiere of the show as far as NBC was concerned; when the The Man Trap was run the previous week it had been advertised as a "sneak preview".
