Who Else Do You Want To Play Timelords?

I want to play a Time Lord.

And my TARDIS will by played by, and look exactly like Scarlett Johansson.

I know this is supposed to be a PG-13 site so I will state this carefully. How would you be able to go onboard a TARDIS that looks like Scarlett Johansson? She has no door that I'm aware of?

Yes to the female lord, Dame Judi Dresh would be a bit too frail, and Scarletts' not quite right, oooh someone scottish !

Though I'd love to see Fry in the role of a Timelord - not playing any character just himself.

Clearly Stephen Fry himself is a Time Lord. Probably one who came to Earth and became human with a chameleon arch, but somehow retained the awesome intellect.

I'd like to see Samuel L. Jackson as Castellan Spandrel in a remake of Invasion Of Time. But only because I'm easily amused, and want him to say "I've had it with these muthaf@kin' Sontarans in this muthaf@kin' panoptican!"

What about that guy who played Cutter on Primeval? Or his boss at the ARC would be a good smarmy Gallifreyan politician. :D

Ha ha that would be great! Surely he should be Andred though?

I like that Stephen Fry always says he's not especially intelligent, he just has a really good memory for things

Ben Miller would be great, Doug Henshaw would make a better Doctor or even a UNIT officer though...on the Primeval front, Lucy Brown would be a fantastic Time Lady! In all sorts of ways!

Here's another thought, David Mitchell as a smug and superior Timelord would be fun.

You beat me to it. David Mitchell would make a great arrogant Timelord.

I will also offer my standard answer to any "cast such-and-such" question: Bruce Campbell.

Peter O'Toole?

A Timelord, sitting by the fire telling unintelligible stories to Time Tots.

"...and then I said to Rassilon, that will never work it's made completely out of matchsticks...

but then I was... very, very drunk."

Roger Moore!!

Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig. :p

Apart from the names already mentioned here, I'd opt for:

John Rhys-Davies
Jim Norton (Bishop Brennan in Father Ted)
Ben Kingsley
Anthony Andrews (he'd be cheaper than Jeremy Irons but just as authoritative)
Ian Ogilvy (another Roger Moore connection)
Michael York

And not forgetting Sean Pertwee, Sam Troughton, Mark McGann, Joe McGann & Steven McGann. Well, if they can cast Peter Davison's daughter ...

Y'know, I'd actually like ENT alot more if it was called what it was.....Star Trek Akia and been about a pre-TOSera Akira NX-01. No mention of Enterprise. It would have been just fine.

^ And this has to do with the Doctor Who topic on hand in what way? (And there is a button there called "Edit" y'know) :)
