I think you were joking, but wouldn't it be funny if, in addition to having a MU counterpart, PU Lorca really did also have a conventional twin brother in Starfleet?
My wife just finally realized that Jason Isaacs was Lucius Malfoy the other night when we watched the last "After Trek" of the season. I can't give her too much grief, because I *knew* the actor had played that role, but just never really thought about it while watching Discovery. Very different guys (other than possibly their D&D alignment

Yep, I was not being entirely serious, but it is one option open to the producers should they want Isaacs back and he is open to return. It's not any worse than Spock's foster-sister or half-brother who we have never heard of suddenly appearing. But possible not the best from a thematic point of view.
Is Nathan Fallion doing anything these days? That way we'd get our Captain Reynolds in two franchises...
I'd love to see the steam rising from Browncoats' heads if Fillion turns up on DSC.
They could have other FF actors get in on the action as well:
- Gina Torres as a Klingon (one with hair, of course)
- Sean Maher as a Romulan
- Jewel Staite as Audrid Dax
- Adam Baldwin as...oh hell, I dunno, Captain Garrovick (in a flashback to just before the Farragut disaster)?
I intentionally left out Alan Tudyk because he has had some, shall we say, less than kind things to say about Trek in the past (I believe his exact words were, "Star Trek is for pussies"

I met Tudyk a few years ago while he was in Melbourne for a convention, or he may have been filming something I can't remember. I was working in retail at the time and he came into my store to buy something. He was incredibly down to earth and didn't even mention who he was until i brought it up. Really cool guy, spent a bit of money too which was nice for my store budget. Shame about the trek comments though, but maybe they were tongue in cheek?
