You can claim that Neelix was the nanny, and I can claim that he was the Nanny with benefits. They were Barely ever seen together, but after Neelix read bed time stories to Naomi at the end of the day, do we really think that he went straight back to his quarters or was Sam getting the cork out of a freshly replicated bottle of Chateau Picard?

I don't know what the rest of this thread is about but "Family" clearly establishes that nobody would dare replicate a bottle of Chateau Picard.

You'd have to wonder about patent piracy and ownership rights and the such forth if theirs no money in the future and do people own land? but once the recipe gets out there, it would quite impossible to stop the flow of information with out some gestapo to regulate unofficial replications.

Back on the subject of Neelix and Sam...yuck. It never crossed my mind before, but now that it's been brought up I can't get the image out of m head. Thanks for that :p
It seems unlikely. Sam just seems too sweet, and honestly two dimensional to be cheating on the husband she may never see again. It would've been more interesting if they had been having a discrete fling.
I find Neelix incredibly unsexy. I've seen the actor in interviewers and he's kind of cute in an offbeat way, but Neelix is physically unappealing, but then I am operating with a 21st century mind set. I guess Earth chicks in the 24th century go for all kinds of strange aliens.

Did you ever used to watch Benson? We see a character played by Ethan go from retrobate slob to romancing the geeky secretary to her babydaddy.

I just threw up a little in my mouth.

In other words- No.

In many other words- No no no no no no no!!! :)

Re: Who assumes Sam & the Hedgehog hooked up?

 Interesting, I never thought of it like that before. True, it is nasty, but it is quite plausible.

Nope. Can't see it.

No way would Samantha cheat on her husband. She's not like that.

He could have been okay with it? Lets not forget that Greskrendtregk spent 4 years thinking that the both of them were dead... he could have already moved on... And if Naomi is anything to go by, Ktarians are a short lived species... So even if he replaced Sam with one of of his own lot, unless he's too sexually adventurous to bother the homefront for... they'd both be dead by the Time Voyager and the Missus was half way home.

If anything, Gres would have had more of a right to do so - if you think your spouse is dead, then you would have every right to start over, as it were. (Just like Janeway's boyfriend, Mark, did.)

Samantha would have no such luxury: As far as *she* knew, her husband was still alive and waiting for her back home. So she would have no excuse if she strayed. And she does not seem like the type that would.

And if Naomi is anything to go by, Ktarians are a short lived species...

Just because Naomi matured faster, doesn't mean she won't live as long. The same goes for full-blooded Ktarians.
