I totally agree with this.
That's not a bad design at all, but blue and red touching each other makes the design visually "muddy" (it also violates the "rule of tincture", but not all national flags respect that either). It needs some fimbriation, but with a design so complex, it isn't easy.

Well, I just learned my new word for the week.
Since kicking is such a small part of the game, American football should be called "passball" or "carryball" or "runwiththeball" or "fightovertheball."
I'm betting nobody's going to be petitioning the Aussie government for the same thing.
It should be called Handegg. Because that's what it really is. It's not a ball, it's an egg. It's carried in the hands. It's Handegg. And the Interblag agrees with me.
Right. So in fact Rugby should be called Handegg, and AF should be called American Handegg.
