That's not a bad design at all, but blue and red touching each other makes the design visually "muddy" (it also violates the "rule of tincture", but not all national flags respect that either). It needs some fimbriation, but with a design so complex, it isn't easy.

Well, I just learned my new word for the week.

I guess it's not called Grid Iron anymore but with all those stops and starts it should be called gridlock.

Since kicking is such a small part of the game, American football should be called "passball" or "carryball" or "runwiththeball" or "fightovertheball."
