Whiskey Drinking

Jim Beam's double aged black label bourbon has become my go-to.
There are better bourbons out there but it's a great mid-range compromise for the price, especially if you buy the large bottle.

If you're building a Quality/Price ratio, I don't think anything would top Jim Beam Black.

Four Roses Single Barrel and their Small Batch are enjoyable, good quality for the price, Jim Beam's Devil's Cut is a tad sweet but nice enough to drink.
Jim Beam's Signature Craft I like a lot as well, one of my favorites is the Labroth & Graham Woodford Reserve, I've sampled a Blanton's Gold as well a while ago and I liked it.

I had a beer when I turned 21 and didn't touch alcohol again until I was 28. It was a pretty crappy beer. Then I started trying out wine, whiskey, brandy, scotch, rum, gin, , etc. Very cautious still, but I've discovered a definite partiality for brandy. So far, rum is the only thing I can't drink neat. I have to mix it with tea or coke or something. I'm still relatively new to spirits, so I don't have any favorite labels.
