Iron Man's cool 'cause one of his strengths as a character is that he's constantly being redesigned/updated and nobody minds. In fact, fans expect a new armor style every once in a while.

Iron Man was always the single most prominent superhero for whom the vast array of superhero suits that the toy companies seem to want to design to make into toys would make sense.

I could second many of these easily, but I prefer to throw into the hat for consideration the "2nd generation" X-men standard uniforms (the blue&golds) from the late 80s and the Ben Riley Spiderman updated costume.

Iron Man, it's one of the few superhero costumes that isn't atrocious. That's probably down to the fact it isn't a costume but full blown armour.

I prefer the green Phoenix costume to the red Dark Phoenix. The green sets off Jean's hair more, IMO.
