None of these is a bad show, but my preference for now is:

    1. LD
    2. TAS
    3. Prodigy*

    * no relation to the Electropunk music group...

    Lower Decks, for sure.

Prodigy is fine for what it is.

    TAS is terrible.

    1. Prodigy. Double Janeway. Nuff said.
    2. Lower Decks. Mariner still irritates me sometimes.
    3. The Animated Series. I watched one episode... haven't really been motivated to watch more.

Prodigy came out in a surprising way. Despite annoyance at Janeway and Chakotay, and really not liking some of the animation style, it has an interesting group of characters.

Lower Decks: fun but often times to self-referential. I love Mariner though.

The Animated Series: Super creative ideas but generally not great execution. It doesn't draw me back.

Lower Decks is the best and it’s not really all that close (IMO). And I say that as a fan of both Prodigy and some of TAS.

I would take Lower Decks ahead of at least 3 of the live action series…maybe 4. I like it that much.

Prodigy is far, far better than it has any right to be. I love TAS forever and ever, and Lower Decks is fun, but so far Prodigy has blown them, and much of modern Trek, away.

I love Lower Decks; it reminds me of Futurama (one of my favorite TV shows of all time). TAS was actually the first Trek show I ever watched (saw the original run on NBC in the early 70s). I just haven't been able to get into Prodigy.

Voted for Prodigy, as it really is great Trek; Lower Decks good as well, and TAS is fine.
Trek served well in animation clearly!

Probably TAS. I haven't watched any Prodigy and of the two Lower Decks clips I watched I liked the one with Q but I don't think either show are my thing. Now TAS I haven't watched since the 90s and it was okay. I think I'd like it a lot more now though. I love the idea of Giant Spock. Did he live as long as Regular Spock? Did he and Regular Spock ever team up again or did Regular Spock ever need to be in two places at the same time and he sent Giant Spock in his place? And then there's the forcefield belts, the Aquashuttle, the grain ships, Captain Robert April. They did put Uhura in command but didn't put her in the centre seat apparently? Boo. Those videos of TNG and Voyager in TAS style are dope. I hope they do more of them.

I think TAS is pretty poor and I absolutely hate Lower Decks.

I have, however, seen a couple of episodes of Prodigy and may watch the rest. The animation is (unusually) nicely done and it's quite watchable.

Haven't watched Prodigy yet (I will when it becomes legally available here), it's a close call between TAS and LD, but I decided to vote for TAS.

I think the most important thing it has going for it is that it's the original cast voiced by the original actors (well, most of them). And you get things like M'Ress voiced and purred by Majel Barrett which just puts a big smile on my face. I love how camp and silly it is but with the original actors' voices.

And in best Classic Trek fashion, quality fluctuates wildly. That means you get something stellar like Yesteryear, but on the downside the show is dragged down overall by being boring as hell a lot of the time.

LD is much more even in comparison. It doesn't have long stretches of nothing happening like TAS does, but also doesn't reach the heights that TAS reaches a few times. It does have a lot going for it, but in the end I never find it really engaging. It's just ok. TAS has very memorable moments that are burned into my brain, while directly after watching a season of LD I can hardly remember anything that happened. It feels like something running in the background, reasonably entertaining but ultimately forgettable. And that's part of why despite all its flaws I give TAS the edge.

Prodigy might be my favorite of the modern trek shows so I went with that one.

Lower Decks. Probably my third favorite entry in the TV franchise.
