To answer the OP, I don't want to see her on another sci-fi or fantasy show. Been there, done that. And I don't want her playing a doctor on House. She already plays the very smart girl on her current show.

I don't want her on Dexter. I'd be forced to subscribe to Showtime.

I'll pick Deserate Housewives, which might give Allison a chance to put on a sexy, lighthearted character.

oh contraire, the Twilight series and Vampire Diaries is killing the genre. True Blood however is at least somewhat keeping it real by not overly sugarcoating everything. Plus she doesn't necessarily have to play a vampire. Maybe Bon Temp newcomer for Jason Stackhouse to conquer.
