Four was the best. Seven of Nine was a good addition. Would have been better had they kept Kes and gotten rid of Neelix. ;)

One of my favorite moments in the series. "He wasn't responding to diplomacy." Janeway rendered speechless.

I voted for Season 5, probably because that was the first season of star trek I ever watched on TV while it aired.....

But TBH, its probably a toss up between Seasons 4 and 5. While seasons 1-3 had great character moments and wonderful stories from Michael Piller and Jeri Taylor, Seasons 4 and 5 had some of my personal favorite episodes of Voyager. Season 4 had the end of the borg arc, as well as the great two parters Year of Hell and The Killing Game. I'll never forget watching Year of Hell for the first time on reruns and just being shocked by the beating Voyager took. Season 4 then rounded out with great one offs like Hope and Fear and (some may not like this one, but...) Message in a Bottle.

Season 5 had great episodes, including Timeless, Course:Oblivion (I love this one), Relativity, Equinox Part I, Latent Image, and of course, Dark Frontier..

Ahh, what a great year for Trek..... the TNG movies, DS9's final seasons, and halfway through Voyagers run. Those were the days.... but I am looking forward to see what this new trek brings in 2017!

Show got better after Seven arrived but I've always had a soft spot for season two. That season had the sense of family we should have seen more of in Voyager and contained the only attempt at ongoing, serialised storytelling (which added to the sense of a travelling community). There was something warm about season two.

I went for season 4 due to the introduction of Seven of Nine and re adapting back into humanity. Season 4 had some great episodes. Season 5 was my favorite too and also season 7.

I call Season 2 the 'Chakotay season' because it seems that was the season when he was featured the most.

I call Season 5 the 'dark night of the soul' season (someone else came up description and I borrowed it). Haven't thought of a nickname for any of the others. ;)

Season 4 for me too. The Borg were a real threat (instead of pushovers) and I always liked the Hirogen.

Season 2, the best season ever in any Star Trek series.

All episodes in this season are actually great, except for "Threshold" and that episode is both funny and watchable if considered as a nightmare Tom Paris had after eating too much of Neelix's food.

Season 1 is also very good and so is also season 3, even if that one had more bum episodes than seasons 1 and 2.

Season 5 is my favourite.

Seven is more a part of the crew and there are a lot of great episodes.

You both have hit the nail on the head, in the order I have your posts listed here. I feel it was close, as Season 2 came on strong towards the end with Meld, Death Wish, Deadlock, The Thaw, and Tuvix. However, overall I agree with Janeway's Girl (lovely avatar by the way:)) that there were more superlative episodes in 5, with Seven showing some variation in her behavior compared to her debut campaign.

Season 4. I tend to go back and forth between 4 and 5, but 5 had inconsistent Janeway, while Four gave us the intro to Seven, a way to contact the Alpha Quadrent, and a nice book end to Scorpion with Hope and Fear. Also, Scorpion is my favorite episode of the series so that was a finale that wrapped up really well.

^ Thank you.

I think "Infinite Regress" is one of the best Seven episodes, btw.

I thought she was really funny in the scene where Seven becomes a Ferengi. I was shocked to find out Jeri Ryan didn't know what a Ferengi was before filming this. She did a great impression!
