Which plot points would you like to have revisited, expanded, or resolved?

I figured that at some time during the Twelfth Doctor's tenure, we'd find out just how he* came to assist in the events of The Day of the Doctor, wherein thirteen Tardises (Tardes?) were enlisted to make Gallifrey disappear into safety.

Never happened.

*Or someone who'd stolen his eyebrows.
Someone needed a can opened really bad

I would like a proper follow up and story around the passing of Sarah Jane Smith. The character had such an impact on the main programme that she has 2 spin offs. The episode wouldn’t need to have a massive world saving storyline, just a tribute to SJS and Lis.
I don't mean to sound uncaring, but is this something they usually did on Doctor Who when the actor who played a past companion died? I know she was popular, but if this wasn't a regular thing, then don't see why it's something they should have expected to do.

I get what you are saying, but SJS was a very popular character with fans of the classic series and, once she was reintroduced, newer fans too. I have been a fan of Who since I can remember (one of my earliest memories is the unmasking in City of Death). It may just be m, but Lis’ passing was the first time I was truly upset about a Who actor passing. I am dreading the next few years as Tom, Colin, Sylv and Peter are all in the bracket where they will pass due to their ages. Especially Sylv as he is MY Doctor.

I am aware of that, but not all fans are. Some people only watch the show and do not listen to BF or read the comics or books. I would have liked something onscreen within the main show.
As  JD noted, your expectation isn't something that Doctor Who does. Hell, very few shows at do it at all. The only immediate example comes to mind is Beyond's tribute to Leonard Nimoy and that happened in a film. The exception not the rule.

Like I said, I don't need anything more than this and I say that as someone who grew up on Tom Baker. I imagine 99% all other fans will feel the same and have already come across this perfect tribute in the past five years.

The average viewer isn't going to care.
