Which non-human spieces would you go on a blind date with?

Vulcans, Bajorans, TOS Romulans.

I don't fancy the idea of a Betazoid knowing how I'm a feeling.

If the idea of a blind date is to get to know someone you've never met before and extends to interspecies dating; it would be great to be surprised. IF.

although Tholians might be tough.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Risians. They make my list. Along with Vulcans and Trills.

^Interestingly, my girlfriend thinks Marc Alaimo and Andrew Robinson look better as Cardassians than humans. I can kind of see her point. Go figure.

I've never seen a woman look attractive in Card makeup, though.

Not even Nana Visitor? Granted, I'm not into women, so I'm not the best judge there, but I thought she actually pulled it off pretty well. I suspect you'd probably have to have a bit of a taste for Goth, personally, given the hues Cardassian women typically use for their makeup...which made some of the female baddies look really scary (Makbar and Ocett come to mind here!), but the ones that weren't baddies--it didn't seem to be a problem.

But back on topic...I would definitely fall for a Cardassian guy--as long as I had a guarantee that the man in question would be a gentleman. I mean, I may find Cardassian men attractive, but I wouldn't set myself up in a situation that could be compromising!

I'd have to go with Risian girls, any Dabo girl, one very special Borg girl, or one particular Vulcan girl.

I find Cardassian women attractive, at least in theory. Does that make me a bad person? :)

Didn't that one DS9 episode establish that Cardassian courting behavior isn't very gentlelike? ;) Meaning: O'Brien is not getting on well with the Cardassian assigned to him, he keeps getting mad at her and sniping at her. She thinks he's hitting on her, since this is standard behavior for Cardassian couples.

I almost hope they retcon that out. I could never act that way to a woman! Not even if I had to. :p

Damn!
Deltan or Orion all the way!

Though I hear that those Vulcan women are very hot....every once in awhile. Borgs bring their own, um, toys, but you have the entire Collective watching and crowds freak me out.

Well, all right, Nana Visitor's still pretty hot. I still say the Cardassian look is (and was probably intended to be) more masculine.

Well...I actually have an explanation for that, but it's strictly a personal one.

Gilora Rejal, I think, was going WAY too fast. But I kind of wonder if, in normal Cardassian society, the sparring is a way of hitting all the potential hot-button issues that could wreck a marriage BEFORE getting married.

I find myself thinking that if couples actually KNEW what they could tolerate from each other BEFORE they got married, if they actually saw whether they could put up with each other's irritating features, and had all the controversial discussions FIRST...there'd be a lot less divorce.
