Which job would you choose?

Kilana2

Vice Admiral
Admiral
…..aboard a federation starship or inside Federation Territory? What kind of job specialization or assignment do you prefer?

Engineering
Tactical
Security
Medical, Counseling
Science (what kind of science then?)
Command
Corps of Engineers
Diplomatic Corps
Terraforming/Colonization
Humanitarian Aid
…. and so on

Speaking for myself, I would choose either Medical Research or Social Sciences, as I´m a Sociologist, with special interests in Demography, Ageing, Health Care and in terms of the 24th century Xenosociology. :vulcan: :cardie: :rommie: :klingon:

I would probably pick Janitor. I figure since they have no toilets I wouldn't have to clean them and would have time to pursue 23rd or 24th century hobbies.

Terraforming! I would love to be like tha one guy on DS9 and be able to create (or help creating) beautiful, living, breathing worlds from barren planets. Selecting the the most fitting plants and animals to seed on the new world, slowly moving up from bacteria an lichen to trees and birds... see the first drop of rain fall on a world you helped to be born...:luvlove:

How about "chief cook and bottle washer"??????

I have a few careers in mind:
- Helmsman / Shuttle Pilot
- Communications
- Social Sciences (History or Sociology)

I'd pilot the daily transport flight between Earth and Vulcan. It's probably the safest route in the quadrant, so I'd never have to worry about every having to duck and cover. And since a good percentage of my passengers are Vulcans, I'd never have to worry about shenanigans--and most journeys would be quiet and peaceful.

I could just put 'er on autopilot, sit back, and fire up angry birds.

Since this is a society where you do not have to work, I would do nothing. I would chill out in Ten Forward and on the holodeck all the time.

Stellar Cartography. Though, I do not know if it is staffed 24 hours a day. And 10 Forward if I was short some duty hours. Or Holodeck Maintenence and Inspection.

No monkey?

I'd choose the Diplomatic Corps. Interacting with those aliens should be fun.

Screw Starfleet, I want to be a meter maid on Earth. They exist, there's an IMDB credit for one in the last film. Plus, the cars fly.
