I think the real issue is that putting the Stark scene before the credits it took away from Banner.
Yeah, Stark will obviously take over an Avengers movie if that ever happens. They should call it Iron Man and Friends.

I didn't know there were MCU comics! Any others than the one Christopher mentioned above?
Concerning canon MCU comics:
- I am Iron Man 1-2
Movie adaptation of Iron Man.
- Iron Man 2 : Public Identity 1-3
Originally solicited as Iron Man 1.5, it is set between Iron Man 1 & 2, goes a little into the Anton/Howard partnership & how Stark met General Ross.
- Iron Man 2 : Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Collects three short stories published as digital comics. Set before Iron Man 2, it shows Nick Fury keeping an eye on Stark, how Black Widow infiltrated Stark Industries & Coulson between the movies.
-- Nick Fury, Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. 1
-- Phil Coulson, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. 1
-- Black Widow, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. 1
- Captain America : First Vengeance 1-8 (digital) or 1-4 (printed)
A series of short stories focusing on CA's characters before the movie.
- Marvel's The Avengers Prelude: Fury's Big Week 1-8 (digital) or 1-4 (printed).
Set before the Avengers, it shows the events of Iron Man 2, Thor, Incredible Hulk & Captain America (opening & closing scenes) from the viewpoint of S.H.I.E.L.D. It ties up some loose ends.
First comic to feature the Marvel Cinematic Universe Official Tie-In Logo.
- Marvel's The Avengers: Black Widow Strikes 1-3
A three issue miniseries focusing on Natasha in a mission in Russia tracking down some stolen Stark Tech.
- Announced for November, Marvel's Iron Man 2 Adaptation 1-2 .
Collections:
- I am Iron Man TPB - collects I am Iron Man, along with Iron Man 300 & Security Measures, a Walmart bonus comic (not canon, contradicts Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
- Iron Man 2 : Public Identity TPB - collects Iron Man 2 : Public Identity & Iron Man 2 : Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
- Captain America : First Vengeance TPB - collects Captain America : First Vengeance.
- Marvel's The Avengers: Road To The Avengers TPB - collects I am Iron Man, Iron Man 2 : Public Identity, Iron Man 2 : Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Captain America : First Vengeance.
First TPB to feature the Marvel Cinematic Universe Official Tie-In Logo.
- Marvel's The Avengers : Fury's Big Week TPB - collects Fury's Big Week.
- Marvel's The Avengers: Black Widow Strikes TPB - collects Black Widow Strikes.
Notes:
- Iron Man 2 : Public Identity & Fury's Big Week are referenced in the timeline included in Art of The Avengers.
- There have been other comics set in the MCU, but they are considered to be "inspired by the MCU" and not canon by Marvel Studios. For example, the Iron Man//Hulk/Nick Fury one-shot, the Iron Man Security Measures comic, the Inc. Hulk Walmart comic, the Thor/Captain America: Avengers one-shot & the Avengers Initiative one-shot. The last two listed will be collected in a digest size tpb marked All Ages.
Watch out! Already multiple spoilers in this topic.![]()
....What am I, on Vulcan or something?
No, but ya are wrong about The Incredible Hulk havin' a post credit scene and lashin' out at the folks who are correctin' ya ain't exactly the most mature response to have about bein' called out on your mistake.

So, does this mean we now have to make a distinction between the final scene scenes, the mid-credits scenes, and the post-credits scenes. Because when I saw the Avengers I caught the mid-credit scene but the cleaning people kicked me out after that and it wasn't until Christopher informed me on this board that I realized there was a POST credits scene--not just the MID credits scene.
Do people feel the POST credits are more important than the MID credits scenes or are the MID credit scenes designed to be more revealing.
I think I also missed the POST credit scenes in Iron Man 2, Thor, and Captain America because I only ever saw the MID credit scenes--do I need to go back and find these important missing scenes?

There were no mid-credit scenes in IM2, Thor or CA:TFA, only end of credits.
The Incredible Hulk didn't have one at all as the director opted to place the stinger at the end of the movie proper, which is the source of the very silly misunderstanding in the post you quoted.
As suggested upthread, can we just call them "stingers" for simplicity's sake? What matters isn't when they occur, what matters is what they are.
And seriously, the cleaning people kicked you out of the theater? I've never known that to happen. They don't have any business making someone leave before the film is actually over. You should've complained to the management.
You need to see some films in developing countries.

Well, if they weren't developing, how could they have films? We'd be stuck watching the negatives!
(That joke probably proves how old I am...)
