Which Green Lantern, and who should star?

Hal Jordan. George Eads from CSI should play him.

It should be, and will be, Hal Jordan. I'm not sure who'd be the best pick to play him. Maybe Jamie Bamber.
Evidently they're talking to Martin Campbell about directing. And it's Hal F---ing Jordan! 
I'm waiting to see Star Trek before giving the final say on this... but if Chris Pine is as good as Jim Kirk as I'm hearing, he should be able to pull off a damn fine Hal Jordan.
I've heard people suggest Ben Browder as Hal Jordan.
But my main exposure to the Green Lantern has been from Justice League/JLU, and there are already more than enough white superheroes, so I'd kind of like it to feature John Stewart. Maybe Samuel L. Jackson?

Denzel Washington would be my pick to play Hal Jordan (whether he'd agree to play it is another issue). From a commercial point of view, Will Smith as the lead in Green Lantern would be a license to print money.
I think it should be John Stewart also for the simple fact we need more minority super hero movies. The problem with Jackson is he's too overplayed. Likewise for Fishburne (the other obvious choice).
Well if it was john stewart I would say Will Smith, but if it's Jordan ( WOO..HOO.. the one and only TRUE G.L.) I see Chris Pine MIGHT just make a good Jordan. and I hope to GOD! thay don't pick that ryan gosling to play Hal, I mean he just does'ent LOOK anywhere near like Jordan!

It should be Hal Jordan. He's so popular that DC was forced to bring him back after unceremoniously killing him off years ago. He's the definitive Green Lantern.
As for who should play him, there are a myriad of actors out there capable of doing it.

I'd say it should be Hal Jordan. I love the idea of Ben Browder, but would also suggest Nathan Fillion.
Years ago I thought Kurt Russel would make a splendid Guy Gardner, but that was years ago, and the suggestions of John Stewart up above are all too old. Guys in their 40s and 50s shouldn't be playing boys in their mid 20s... Well, obviously except Tom Welling.
I think Jon Stewart from the daily Show should play John Stewart, or also play John Stewart while he is playing himself in the movie wwho just got sellected for th corps, and he saying "What are the odds? You, know I'm mistaken for you alll the time."
That kid with the scar from the wire who played Mr Angry pants on Herioes, he's got some serious mustard, and I do enjoy that black bloke off leverage if we're still talkign about casting Stewart.
I think Booth from Bones still wants to hal Jordan again afetr new Frontier... Though Josh Randor from How I met your Mother is abotu perfect fro Kyle. infact the cast of How I met your mother is about perfect for a Green Lantern movie cast. Just leave me fussing over who get's to play Katma Tui and who gets to be star sapphire to Wayne Brady's John Stewart.

Hal Jordan bores me. I'd like to see Jon Stewart. And if he hadn't gone crazy, I'd have picked Wesley Snipes to star. If he could fake an American accent well, I'd cast Djimon Hounsou (from Amistad & Blood Diamond).
Oooooh. David Boreanaz as Hal. Didn't think of that one. I would go see see that.
