Less than even that. VOY Seasons 5-6 and ENT Seasons 1-3, but that's splitting hairs. ;)
True, but they both still got credited as executive producers on Enterprise's fourth season, so I'll allow that to be included as part of their era. Even though their only contribution to that season was writing TATV, which no one wants to acknowledge as a fourth season episode. And it was written during the third season anyway.

You do realize the "Berman-Braga era" is only Voyager seasons 5 and 6 and the four seasons of Enterprise, right?
My bad, I meant Berman -> Braga era.

Basically everything that started with TNG & Rick Berman all the way to the end of ST:ENT that was headed by Berman-Braga

So, playing with the premise of the thread, for those who wish the 2005 trend continued where would you take it?

I already stated what I would do in the earlier post in the thread.

I'd make sure Michael Burnham was taken care of so she can retire with her man Book and have kids after being the savior of the Milkyway Galaxy & UFP/StarFleet; but some of the bigger universe decisions that they made like "The Burn" and "Synth Attack on Mars" is what I would fix with Time Travel.

But other than that, things like the Spore Drive, I have already integrated into my Head Canon and worked it out into how it would integrate with StarFleet.

That's not what I meant. I specified taking the 2005 model forward; how would you do that?

This seems a bit of an odd take. Is the current era a continuation of the Kelvin era? Is TOS the same era as Enterprise? What happened between 2005 and 2009 to split this down to two eras?
I meant more in production terms rather than continuity. Gene Roddenberry with TOS & TNG, Rick Berman taking the lead onward with TNG to ENT.

The other era is JJ Abrams and Alex Kurtzman. Kurtzman working on the current shows but also having written 2 Kelvin movies and was a producer. The modern shows look vastly different even if they are within continuity. Different people are working on them. The way they tell stories is different and how it's consumed by audiences is different.

Based upon the poll of this thread and it's premise if you were to continue Trek forward from 2005 using that same model how would you do so?
Mines would be a little bit of old, a little bit of new in a hybrid model.

My show would be made for TV, but 1 hr long (Content wise) run times + Preview | Op | Ed | Next Time | Credits along with a Short Trek.

Each Season of my TV series would be 17x 1 hr long episodes for each "Season".

Have up to 3x Production teams going running several shows in parallel with the shows scheduled to air "Back to Back" for a nearly continuous year long run of Star Trek every year.

You can't roll back the clock. Even if you tried to make a "classic-recipe" show in the style of TOS or TNG or whatever, it would invariably look and feel more modern than you might intend. That's just how it works.
Even Star Trek Continues, the most faithful attempt to continue live-action TOS ever, isn't how it would have been done in 1970. Too many self-indulgent fannish tropes, too much need to make sequels to "fan favourite" episodes, insert a new character that never would have been part of the original etc.

Would they all be in the same era?
