Which Episode?

Ive been wanting to watch the DS9 where Doctor Bashir is up for some sort of medical prize and he doesnt feel he deserves it, but I cant remember the episode. Ive looked on the dvds, but its only the B Story, so I cant find it.

Can anyone help me out?

It will FOREVER baffle me that people seem to hate most DS9 Ferengi eps...especially considering most seem to love most DS9 MU eps.

Ok, the ferengi episodes arent bad, the Zek episodes were bad. Apart from 'The Dogs of War' all his shows were awful.

It will FOREVER baffle me that people seem to hate most DS9 Ferengi eps...especially considering most seem to love most DS9 MU eps.

The problem seems to that the Ferengi episodes were often outliers on the DS9 bell curve

Most were comic in a series which was best-loved for being dramatic; as the show went on they were increasingly set on Ferengina rather than on the station itself; & few if any had ties to the main narratives which underpinned DS9. Doesn't mean that they were bad - The magnificent Ferengi remains one of my all time favourite episodes - but they were significantly different in both style & content. I wonder if the people who dislike the Ferengi stories also disliked Vic Fontaine?

By contrast, the MU stories - The Emperor's new cloak being a notorious exception - tended to be a lot closer to DS9's mainstream. These stories may have turned the amps up to 11; but it was more recognisably cast from the same show
