Having to deal with the apparent absence of Mara Jade-Skywalker as part of the OFFICIAL Star Wars universe, I would say that I'm really interested in the characters of Rey and/or Captain Phasma (played by Gwendoline Christie who I love from Game of Thrones!). It looks like we will finally be getting a better mix of male and female characters in the SW movies! :-) Of course, I'm still insanely curious about where Luke is and what he is doing since he has been curiously absent from the trailers thus far (aside from a brief snippet that tells us nothing).
